Midsummer’s Eve Giveaway Hop

Traditionally, summer is a time for me where I read a lot. Since I can’t write my own stories when my children are on holiday, I do the second best thing: reading someone else’s.

Kathy from I am a Reader initiated this Giveaway Hop, and I thought I’d participate. After all, you might be a little bit like me. Go ahead and win an eBook I haven’t published yet (although it is edited and proof read).

I like anything fiction. Love sci fi fantasy. We mainly get to read children’s book at the moment. We read to our little girl every night.

My favorites are SciFi and Fantasy too although not Epic Fantasy (with very few exceptions).

I like almost any genre as long as it is a good read. Mostly paranormal, science fiction, horror, medical thriller, etc.

    1. Cat says:

As long as the story pulls me in, I’m game with a lot of genres too. However, I do have some favorites.

I have such a wide variety of stories that I like, but you can’t go wrong with fairy tales and paranormal for me! <3

    1. Cat says:

Fairy tales are in my list of favorites too.

    I like vampire stories.

    1. Cat says:

I like some but not all. I had a really hard time with this sparkling vampire (I keep forgetting the name) but that was mostly due to the too-stupid-to-live main character. I also don’t like them when the bloody parts get too graphic. I did love Anne Rice’s story “Interview with a Vampire” though. It was quite intelligent.

  5. Lori Hopkins says:

Anything paranormal or horror. I also like historical fiction.

    1. Cat says:

I like paranormal, but horror very rarely. Most horror book are too much splatter for my taste. I like intelligent, non-bloody horror though.
OH, and I write two historical novels 😉
