I decided to join the Listing Fest by Alex Cavanaugh and Bish Denham a while ago, and today is the day. So I decided to post a list of things that I can’t possibly all do in a single week (unless I’ll turn into super-writer-woman this second). NaNo is approaching like a runnaway fright train, and this year, for the first time, I’m not ready. Oh, I did all my pre-planning and have the time set aside, but there are so many things I still need to do before I can use the time for writing. Look at my list:
There might be more but I can’t think of it just now. All I see is that I have to do more than I can possibly manage in one week — and the list doesn’t even contain all the marketing I should be doing …
Anyone who feels like helping is welcome to contact me (there’s a contact form). I still need reviewers for my upcoming release (15th of November) of “Juma’s Rain”. Thanks for looking in.
To make it easier, here’s the list of the other participants:

Wow! I’m here a week late and it looks like you did accomplish most of your list in 7 days. Good job and good luck with NaNo!
Thanks. The things I didn’t get done can wait till December. 😀
It’s about that time. I see you’ve done a lot on your list. Good thing you made the list. I bet it’s been a big help. Good luck with Nano.
I even managed to carve a pumpkin. 😀
YIKES! That’s some list. You appear to be very organized. Me? I’m afraid a ‘to do’ list would send me screaming into the night.
I’m not organized. I forgot half of the things that should have been on the list. 😀
Wow! That’s a LONG list…and NaNo starts Sunday. Don’t worry–you’ll be writing a lot, but you’ll still have time to squeeze in a few other things! Rooting for all of you guys who are participating in NaNo this year.
At least I got the most important things done. I might even get to the laundry tomorrow.
Whoa… You’re going to have a busy week! Hope it all comes together easily and successfully 🙂
I’ve already accomplished most of the items on the list. Maybe I should update. 😀
I can relate to that kind of a list. Except the German. I do know how to say werewolf in German though. (That probably wouldn’t come up often in conversation, would it?)
Not really. Werwölfe aren’t an everyday occurrence. 😉
I keep talking about all the writing I need to get done. This is probably a good way for me to get started on it.
Any task, even an impossible one, can be easier to manage when it’s broken down into smaller manageable tasks. Otherwise it seems so difficult to accomplish.
And you’re likely to forget a step.
Good luck with your list–that is definitely daunting! Hope NaNo still is a smashing success, ready or not 🙂
Thanks
Always something isn’t there! You’ve got your hands full considering there are only a few days left. I doubt whether I’ll do NANO this year, but then again I tend to make spur of the moment last minute decisions concerning things like this. Hope you are ready for Sunday!

Tossing It Out
True. There’s always too much to do and too little time. Especially when you’ve got kids. 😀
You’ve got a lot to do this week! Good luck getting everything done in time for NaNo.
I’ll do my best. Luckily one of my kids is with her grandparents, so I’ve got a little more free time than ususal.
That’s quite a list! Hope you accomplish it all!
And I forgot to put “visit all listing challenge participants” on my list. 😀
Whoa, you are going to be busy! It is good to make lists when you have that much to do.
Thank you.
Just start on what is the most urgent and work your way down the list. If it doesn’t get done, don’t stress. Unless it’s life-threatening, why worry?
Thanks for participating in the blog hop!
That’s what I always do.
I’ll follow the lists later tonight when the kids are in bed.
It would take me about three months to get all that done. Good luck.

I hope to get it all done in one and a half to two weeks. We’ll see how it goes.
I’m trying to get my blog posts done before NaNo, but I’m running out of time!
Good luck with your writing next month. 🙂
I tried that too but there were too many interruptions.
I’m trying to get my blog posts set before NaNo begins, but running out of time!

That’s a lot of stuff you need to do. And only a week left to do it. Good luck with NaNo!
I know it’s a lot and I don’t expect to get everything done. But I’d be happy if I manage at least some of it.
Some of those items on your list made me sad…list laundry. I feel for you.
Well, some things need to get done whether I like them or not. Laundry is one of those, and I’ve got a huge pile since we went horse riding for a week in lousy weather. 😉
Luckily, I can spread the laundry into next month. The kids steal their stuff anyway before it’s folded neatly. 😀
What a busy list, I did one for NaNo too.

Good luck. I’ll check it later.
Thanks for listing with me, Katharina! Oh my! All that in one week?! I wish you all the best. Remember, somewhere in there, the breathe, take a moment to thankful, and notice the sky!
With my kids there’s no chance to miss the sky, especially at sunset. 😉
Thanks for the good wishes.
