In this anthology, my short story “Der Engel” was published. I handed in the story although I didn’t (and still don’t) think it is “Horror”. I think it is more “Dark Fantasy”.

This story is my first payed publication, ever. I earned the enormous amount of 5,36 EUR but I wasn’t disappointed. After all it was the first time professional editors acknowledged a certain writing talent. After the publication I was exceptionally motivated.

Most of the other stories in this anthology aren’t typical for the genre either. There are thoughtful, weird and unfathomable texts that are really worth-while to discover.

In October 2012 I decided to publish this story and “Wedding Nights” from “Ganz schön bissig…” in the eBook anthology “Flesh and Blood” in English.
